Relaxing Ear Pin / The SUNSHINE Life / Is anyone reading? / Writing Blog / Horror Blog

A few days ago I decided to start taking pictures of flowers. Why? They don't move, unless of course there is a faint breeze blowing and they require only a small amount of patience. I have a slew of bird pictures, those of you who follow my social media feeds can attest to that, so I'm shaking things up a bit and taking pictures of nature's natural color pallet. I also take a ton of pictures of Cocoa, our dog.

Pictures are relaxing. This picture was taken one day while reclining in my extended office space. I have a chair, a table, a plug for the laptop and an awning shading me from the bright Florida sunlight. As my old Dell was booting up I noticed Cocoa in the sunlight, his eyes squinted, his mouth curled into what looked like a grin. He was content as the sunlight saturated his brown fur. He stood up and pushed his nose into the grass and did a flop turning onto his back. In a matter of seconds he was writhing on the ground, his face a large grin. He was giving himself his own back scratch. He stood and his ears were pinned to his head. Usually when scratching his back Cocoa shakes off the dust, grass and other excess material off and puts his ears back into place. After his back scratch I heard the pitter patter of his paws on the blacktop and he was in front of me on the rug. I caught him in the picture below. Thanks for stopping by, it's time for me to get back to that great American Novel. Have a great day!
