What
is going on in the world of fiction? I’ve done it again, I started another
story, and hopefully this time I follow through, and finish it. I have a large
slush pile of writing, half finished, some finished and never edited or looked
at again, and on a day like yesterday, a good day, I write seven hundred fifty
words of a brand new tale, will it end up in that formidable slush? I’m not
sure where my head is most times, but I’m getting closer to some light at the
end of the muddied tunnel.
I’m
going to explain my story, Vasectomus, for those of you curious
as to a synopsis about it. It’s a tale of a very angry man. His name is Sabre.
He does have a sharp edge, so he thinks. He’s the focal point of the entire narrative, and most, from the beginning of the story, will probably hate him. In
fact, when I discovered the person who oddly resembled Sabre, I didn’t like him
much. This character is a loose faction of what I believed the real life person
may have been in his personal day to day with his own spouse. On the polar opposite
end, Sabre’s wife also has a story of her own. Her story is written in a style
of a “Stencil Ceremony”, those of you who read my collection of short stories,
Blood, Dreams & Tears, will know exactly what a Stencil Ceremony is, if you’ve
taken the time to read the shorts. If not, it’s not too late to pick up a copy for
yourself or even for a loved one, and read it. Most of the stories in the
collection, albeit on a slight amateurish side, will probably please and
disturb you at the same time.
So there you have it, a short, I mean short synopsis of Vasectomus, written by Jim Falcon. The story can be vulgar, so if you have a weak stomach, try to read it, when your stomach takes a flip or flop, put it down and read the rest later. Thanks, for any reading you can muster, it pleases me to see my artwork being unfolded, turned, and indulged in. As always you can get first access to the collection, The Gates of Chaos, right here, when it becomes available on Amazon and across the book networks. Thanks so much for stopping by, and for reading!
