Great Company---Read On

I was thinking, yes, it's a rare thing when I can put my cap on, other than that arcane writer's cap that I wear from time to time, and realized there are still great businesses in the world. The one I'm going to rave about is Smashwords.com .
Usually I despise the cold corporate strong arms and ignore them. Smashwords is not one of those strong arms. They embrace all with an equality that allow new authors to display their creative, or somewhat creative endeavors, and do it as a service for free. In a world where everyone is trying to make billions from the lint of the poor man's pockets. I give Kudos to a company who seems to provide a service that is cost effective and where they are still able to make money on the purchases made by users to stay alive.
Consumers should sign up for an account with this company if: they have an e-reader of any kind, they have the desire and want for an array of books that are often set at the lowest prices on the market, and if desired, downloadable access to all formats of the book that was purchased.
In the e-reader world there are many devices to ponder purchasing. Smashwords makes it easy to buy the book of choice and allows customers who have made the decision to own five different e-reading devices to download and read their book on any one of them. That's more bang for the buck in the economic shit storm that most of our pocket books have been facing and live in.
Most who have dealt with Smashwords can attest what I'm proclaiming. But for those who were unaware of this companies existence this is my rave. Go there now, buy a book or two or three, possibly even download some great fiction for free, but support them, they are a rare novelty in a digitized, greedy world.

The dish on Mushroom Soup is that it's an odd collection of twelve twisted tales, being released next weekend, October 8th 2011. I've worked on them now for the past couple years (as well as many other stories/novels that are unfinished). Being my own best critic, I've finally caved and am making the entire collection available to family, friends, supporters, other writers and if your a fan of horror or adult fiction, to you. It's going to be a trade paperback edition and affordable $9.99. For those of you with e-readers the e-book will be ready in all formats a week or two after the paperback release and will only be around $2.50 (they are two completely different animals to publish). I'm excited to get the news out and will probably market it to everyone in my contacts lists, my friends list, with Google +, facebook, anywhere my network expands and the support comes from. I will keep everyone posted on the details and am looking forward to scaring the living hell, or at least temporarily scarring your mental state of mind, as soon as you purchase your copy. I'm working on Mushroom Soup, a collection of short stories, soon to be available for purchase. To promote it I'm asking my acquaintances and friends what they would prefer when they buy a copy, free t-shirts (limited supply) or free ring tones (also a limited supply) for the purchase and download. Let me know so I can get an idea. The t-shirt would obviously have the Mushroom Soup artwork as well as my name and a website. The ringtone, well, that remains to be seen. Thanks for the input.

Galyptan sayings are rare words phrased by my ancestry and passed down orally. One of the most negative is, “Galypto’s never live past the age of sixty-six.” This was something my dad used to say to me when I was growing up. I believed him, there was something in the words that held mystique, a certain intrigue.

Sleep; there was no better way to cope, no better way than to sleep. I slumbered in the warm ambience of the banana yellow sun forevermore. I tuned out the world that I would someday have to wake up and battle. Tears slipped from my eyes like leaking faucets, for what? I knew not.

I have been working diligently on Dark Prince, Worm and Symptom, all novels but on the side I have personally achieved quite a bit more. There are several short stories available on smashwords.com for free. These will hopefully become a collection of short stories with added exclusive bonuses to complete a compilation. On that note I hope that all my readers indulge in the latest piece of fiction by me, a short story titled Troupeau. Reinventing The Wheel

After years of serving up fiction, as raw, rough, and unedited as it was, I've given up for the time being---on the old stuff. From this point forward, I'm re-inventing the wheel so to speak, the Tim Eagle wheel of writing. I'm slowly purging my web presence and archives. My writings and mythos have become strong, voiced with flow and consistency, unlike that of the old. They have also grown enough for me to express and articulate with a style, one that I think has lacked in my past. If you are a supporting fan, please continue, I appreciate it, if you are a young author, keep writing, don't be discouraged by rejection, live for it. In my life I have been struggling to be published, have accomplished it(Symptom and Rearing). Although it was on a non-paying basis, for those of you out there who care, and have tried with success to hone the craft. My brand is being established, I'm re-inventing with vigor, and I look forward to entertaining you, my constant fans, with the style you've always known to be delivered. Happy Reading!!!

The silver bristles of Fabel’s hair blew like spider legs from a gust of wind as he sauntered through the field of Hell. Some believe that life remotely resembles fantasy; to Fabel life is fantasy. What people perceive is just a reality created by visions and a greater illusion, all this fell upon his young soul during his second death. Fabel’s grasp on life had been enhanced deep within his dark mind which had served and computed for him since birth; reality was clear, his reality clear---crystal clear. He looked up to the sweltering sun as it sank down the horizon like a sphere of melted silly putty, the view, although beautiful, was interrupted by the rustling in the sage brush that continued to stir. Something was watching him.
